Job Description Responsibilities: 1) Assist in the project management activities of health care technology implementations. These "repeatable implementations" will encompass a broad range of functional activities (including Nursing, Pharmacy, IT, and Biomedical Engineering). Candidate will be responsible for managing implementations across all functions in both the client and the end customer. Manage and sometimes co-manage Hospira MedNet® implementations and/or trials across all functions in both Hospira and the Customer a. Obtain Client Services resources b. Coordinate project logistics c. Provide ongoing project communications and lead customer meetings d. Coach and lead local sales team lead (who maybe designated as the project manager) and / or customer through the implementation and/ or trial process e. Tailor template project management deliverables (scope documents, milestone status reports, actions/issues lists, etc.) and implementation and/or trial approaches to specific customer implementations f. Create and deliver engagement and planning meeting presentations g. Manage and resolve issues and risks which arise during implementations and/or trials h. Manage customer expectations for scope, time, quality and customer satisfaction 2) Track and report on implementation and / or trial progress 3) Recommend refinements to and assist in creating and rolling out repeatable processes to drive timely and cost effective trials and/or implementations Skill set includes: • Minimum of 5-7 years of Project Management experience • Working knowledge of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK); CAPM or PMP certification preferred • Demonstrated ability to lead medium to large projects • Demonstrated customer facing experience - THIS SKILLSET IS MANDATORY • Results oriented, self starting individual balanced with excellent communication (both written and oral), presentation, team work, and people skills • Strong detail orientation, multi-tasking, coordination, facilitation, negotiation, problem solving and decision making skills • Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and prefers fast paced environment • Ability to travel and work overtime as necessary - CANDIDATE MUST BE OPEN TO DOMESTIC TRAVEL APPROXIMATLY 35% • Technical background/understanding and ability to learn new technology quickly • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tool suite including Microsoft Project and/or other project management tools • Ability to create project scope documents, milestone status reports, project plans, and manage project timelines, scope, costs, issues, risks, and customer satisfaction • HealthCare industry experience a plus • "Big 6" consulting or equivalent customer facing experience preferred Excellent opportunity for the right candidate to utilize their project management skills within a growing, new business unit within the healthcare industry.
